Rolling your sponge brayer in one direction on the ink pad, then roll your brayer across your glossy cardstock until it is completely covered. WebbI used a sponge brayer and a Misty Moonlight ink pad to create an ombre effect on the thick Whisper White cardstock I had cut with the Stitched Nested Framelits. Here's what I do - I first roll it around on my grid paper to get off all the ink I can that way, then I take a baby wipe to it and that gets it very clean. I haven't used black ink on my brayer, however. I do have 2 brayers in case I want to do that.
