My 2 cents: Make sure mergerfs uses the write policy you want it to use, and test it. snapraid is very good for WORM write once read many. If you change files a lot, then the snapraid syncs will create a lot of workload on your disks. I wan't the setup to be the same on the new system but a number of questions have arisen: WebbSince migrating to ZFS means copying all the data twice (of from the HDD, and in the ZFS Pool) and your data is rarely changing i would suggest going with Snapraid (a "Raid" on Filesystem basis) and MergerFS (merging all drives under one Path), you can start with already Filled drives so no copying involved.
