Curseforge takes forever to load

WebAug 31, 2014 · That being said I am certain the reason is Gregtech, but I was wondering what specifically about that mod could be causing the load time to be almost 7-8 minutes, whereas if I remove it the load time is approximately 2-3 minutes. Any clues as to what can be done, besides removing Gregtech?
